The Kingdaflex SAE 100R2AT / DIN EN853 2SN hydraulic hose is the industry standard for high-pressure hydraulic systems. Unlike the 1SN series, this hose features double high-tensile steel wire braid reinforcement, providing significantly higher working pressure capabilities and superior resistance to impulse fatigue. The main difference lies in the reinforcement. SAE 100R1AT has one layer of steel wire braid, making it suitable for medium pressure. SAE 100R2AT has two layers of steel wire braid, allowing it to handle much higher pressures. If your system experiences frequent pressure spikes, R2AT is the safer and more durable choice.
Q: What fittings should be used with SAE 100R2AT hose?
A: This hose is typically compatible with standard crimp fittings designed for 2-wire braided hoses, such as the Ferrules for SAE 100R2AT/EN853 2SN. We supply matching fittings to ensure a leak-free assembly.
Q: Is the cover MSHA approved?

Q: What is the bend radius compared to R1AT?
A: Due to the double wire reinforcement, R2AT is slightly stiffer than R1AT but still maintains excellent flexibility for routing in tight spaces.
