Key Features: This sleeve is constructed from braided continuous basalt fiber, a material known for its exceptional performance in extreme conditions. It operates effectively within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +648°C, with a melting point of 982°C. It exhibits high resistance to most oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, acids, alkalis, and moisture, and is non-flammable with excellent thermal insulation properties.
Performance & Applications: Designed for demanding environments, it provides superior protection for industrial wires, cables, hydraulic hoses, and pipes against high temperatures, abrasion, and chemical corrosion . Its typical applications include insulation and protection in automotive, aerospace, energy generation, and heavy machinery.
Structural Advantage: The sleeve is available in thin wall (1.5 mm) made from filament basalt fiber for flexibility, and thick wall (3 mm) made from texturized basalt fiber for enhanced durability and insulation. The braided structure offers excellent flexibility and ease of installation on complex assemblies, and it is 100% inorganic and eco-friendly.
